Dear Parents/ Guardians Please note that school attendance is compulsory throughout the examination session, including on days when your daughter is not writing an examination, as well as until the official last day of term 4. The South Africa Schools Act of 1996, as amended states that "Any person who, without just cause, prevents a learner who is subject to compulsory attendance from attending or disturbs such attendance, is guilty of an offence." Parents, the SGB and the school are responsible for ensuring that this is adhered to. NO learner may be absent without just cause provided by the parent. Your co-operation in this matter is appreciated. Ms A Jones Principal
