SGB BY-ELECTIONS: 10 MARCH 2025

Dear parents/ guardians

The Nomination and By-Election Meeting that took place last night (10 March) was neither quorate, nor were any nominations received. This means that we will set a new date. You will be notified of the new nomination and by-election meeting as soon as we are able to finalise it.

If you are a parent/legal guardian of a learner at Springs Girls' High School, and if you have particular skills and suitable qualifications that could assist the SGB and the school, please apply for nomination. We require such skills as fundraising, business knowledge, safety and maintenance experience etc, as well as qualifications in finances. If you can give your time and your expertise to the school, please stand for nomination, or if you know of someone suitable, please nominate her/him. We need parents who are willing to serve with dignity and integrity to join the current members.

Nominations can be done by collecting a form from the front office from 14 March 2025 and placing your fully completed nomination form in the sealed box at the reception. Alternatively, you can nominate candidates in the first half-an-hour of the meeting on the date to be announced.
